We named our store “Rodi”, which means “pomegranate” in Greek, because we deeply love Greek tradition and the symbolism behind it. In Greek culture, the pomegranate represents abundance, good fortune and creativity — values that we wish to express through every product we offer.
Behind Rodi are two siblings, Irene and Valerius. With care and imagination, Irene designs and creates ceramics and colorful handmade jewelry, each piece forming a unique part of our collection.
Inspired by our love for tradition, handmade creation and the ceramic art that has flourished in Crete since ancient times, we created Rodi with the vision of offering authentic Greek products — mostly handmade — that combine design, quality and uniqueness, while giving value to every little detail.

Our store is located on Potie Street, one of the most picturesque and lively streets in Chania. In the unique atmosphere of the Old Town, with its narrow alleys and distinctive architecture, we created a space that reflects our philosophy: warm, unique and welcoming. warm, unique and inviting.
